Guelph Humane Society
The Guelph Humane Society is a registered charitable, non-profit organization that has been dedicated to protecting and caring for animals in Guelph and Wellington County since 1893. Each year, the organization provides shelter, medical care, and support to thousands of animals that are homeless, abandoned, injured, or in need. Through adoption services, animal rescue, education, and community outreach programs, the Guelph Humane Society works to promote animal welfare and ensure animals are treated with compassion and respect. The organization relies on donations and community support to continue providing essential care and helping animals find safe, loving homes.
Laura recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the Guelph Humane Society, an organization that holds a special place in her heart. With over 20 years of involvement in dog rescue and two rescue dogs of her own, Laura is passionate about giving animals a second chance at a happy and loving life.
During her visit, Laura assisted with a variety of daily tasks, including walking dogs, feeding animals, doing laundry, washing bowls, and helping maintain the facility. Her efforts helped support the dedicated staff in providing care for the animals.
Laura also had the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about the important work being done by the Guelph Humane Society. She expressed her gratitude for the experience and looks forward to continuing her volunteer efforts in the future. Through this opportunity, Laura was proud to support an organization that makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of animals in need.
