Gerald Weersink, a Board of Director, here at Tradition has donated to United Way Perth Huron and Town of St. Marys.

United Way Perth Huron and the Town of St. Marys have teamed up to start a pilot program to focus on community development and supporting those in social housing. They will work to understand the challenges that those in social housing may face and connect them with services. There will be a development of networks and education of safety, homelessness, poverty, and other social issues.

Covid-19 brought to light the social isolation that this community of people faces. Creating a long-term support plan, such as the one that United Way Perth Huron and the Town of St. Marys has started is a great way to offer support, and Tradition is proud to donate to their cause. This project is a fantastic way to connect people and show everyone that they are cared about.
